Sandra grew up learning how to design and make her own clothes and studied music from the age of ten.
On leaving school at fifteen years old, she obtained a trainee position at an award-winning fashion house in Melbourne, Australia. After a two-year visit back to the UK, Sandra returned to Australia but this time to Sydney, NSW, where she studied the first year of a Fashion Certificate course.
However, her career path subtly diverted to the entertainment industry after she left her fashion studies and obtained work as an International Telephonist at the GPO in Sydney. She resumed her music studies, joined a local drama group, and attended dance classes in contemporary and jazz ballet.
